Steady Ed Memorial Up!

KOA Pro/Am Jam a hit!

Well, the first KOA Pro/Am Jam without Mike Ruzicka at the helm, went off with few hitches. There was a tremendous turnout, one of the biggest in recent years and the prospective new owners of the KOA were pleased enough to invite the UFOS to throw two tournaments a year instead of one!<–more–>

24 Karet Gold Doubles Tourney Announced

John Ross announces the 24 Karet Gold Tourney for Mixed Doubles will take place from Friday, April 18th through Sunday, April 20th, 2008. This will be the largest first place payout in disc golf history. Deadline for registration is March 31st and the flyer is in our downloads. [download#11]

John Draws a crowd.

I’m happy to report that there was a great turnout for the first John McLeod Memorial held at Highland Springs in Lakeport on Saturday, February 23rd.  In spite of the horrific weather, 44 of you hard-core golf warriors turned up to brave the downpour and honor John.  Truly no wimps, no whiners.  Congratulations go out to Brett Lewis, who aced hole 5 (in spite of the wind), and George Houston, who aced hole 7.   Although the weather was hardly the best, I think a good time was had by all.
