UFOS an official PDGA Affiliated Club.

The United Flyers of Sonoma are now an official PDGA Affiliated Club. We received our “blessing” this morning from our governing body. This puts us in a position to offer some “perks” to our membership as well as offering benefits to new members. For everyone who joins or renews their PDGA membership through us, the club may retain a portion of the fee. The PDGA will be sending us some “swag” later on. I don’t know what is in the package, but we will see. NOT A UFOS? Why not join? Membership if free and you get to support the sport while hanging out with a great bunch of guys! Want a voice in the development of disc golf in the North Coast area? Join the UFOS! MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS’ PRIVILEGES!! Check “Membership” under the “Participate” menu.

I then received an email from Nick Walden, the Cotati/Rohnert Park correspondent asking who he could talk to for more info. I forwarded that to Kevin Parkhurst and low and behold they sent out a photographer and everything.

CraneCreekVandalsA couple of morons started a fire just off of hole 11 at Crane Creek today. Fortunately, a couple of our guys were there and took a photo of the jerks as they fled the scene. Thanks to Steve Schroeder and Noah Parker we have good descriptions of both the truck and the guys.
