With a second place finish at the recent KC Wide Open, 2005 World Champ Nathan Doss of Team Discraft has become the top ranked disc golfer in the world, according to independent rankings published by Marshall Street Disc Golf. The bump also puts Doss into the number one slot for 2007 Player of the Year. He is the first player to displace Ken Climo from the top spot since the rankings were established two years ago.

The National Tour was in Kansas City last weekend, where Oklahoma’s Ron Convers came in to steal some thunder, winning the Masters division by four throws. Nate Doss was solid, taking 2nd in Open with Eric McCabe 6th, Adam Olsen 7th, and Kathy Manley 3rd.
