FLX Surge and FLX Buzzz arrived to cheers at retailers this week. Made from a highly flexible version of ESP plastic, the added ‘give’ makes them easier to grip for more controlled releases, especially in cold or wet conditions. Also released: the new ESP Meteor turnover midrange, and an ESP version of the XL driver.

A new study shows that among all 86 private US national universities, those ranking in the top half for Ultimate have a graduation rate of over 85%, while those in the bottom half graduate just 60%. The difference in the totals of Rhodes scholars and Marshall scholars among their graduates during this decade is even more dramatic: 208 versus 15.

Discraft announces the limited release of a new, highly flexible version of its ESP plastic. Dubbed “FLX,” this plastic is currently being made available only to tournaments and clubs in Surge drivers and Buzzz midrange models.
