Kim Scott-Wood of ON was honored by the PDGA this week as the 2006 Pro Rookie of the Year. Also in the running were Iowa’s Adam Olsen and Michigan’s Geoff Bennett. Minnesota’s Timmy Gill received an honor of a different sort, when the PDGA voted him the disc golf Sportsman of the Year and awarded him the Brent Hambrick Award for Sportmanship. The awards were announced at the PDGA Pro Worlds banquet in WI.

- #Got back from the KOA Pro/Am Jam to find that the spammers had crashed our Forum. I am installing a new, more secure one, from the designers of Wordpress, itself. Until I find a way around it, you will have to log in to the new forum separately. The good news is that you can use the same signon and password for it. I am fine tuning it now so look for it in a couple of days.
