Tuesday, August 26th, 2008This year’s Indian Summer Festival is scheduled for October 4th and 5th. The flyers for the event are now available in both Word Indian Summer 2008 (Word) (4) and PDF Indian Summer 2008 (PDF) (5) format. There will be a Saturday night Pasta fundraiser for Steve Werner. Steady Ed Memorial Up!
Monday, June 9th, 2008Next weekend, June 14th and 15th, is the annual ‘Steady Ed’ Memorial Tourney held at the Highland Springs course in Lakeport. This tournament is always a favorite, so come out…support the sport…and remember Steady Ed Hedrick, the founder of Disc Golf. See you there.
Forum Crashed
Monday, June 9th, 2008Got back from the KOA Pro/Am Jam to find that the spammers had crashed our Forum. I am installing a new, more secure one, from the designers of Wordpress, itself. Until I find a way around it, you will have to log in to the new forum separately. The good news is that you can use the same signon and password for it. I am fine tuning it now so look for it in a couple of days. (more…)
KOA Pro/Am Jam a hit!
Monday, June 9th, 2008Well, the first KOA Pro/Am Jam without Mike Ruzicka at the helm, went off with few hitches. There was a tremendous turnout, one of the biggest in recent years and the prospective new owners of the KOA were pleased enough to invite the UFOS to throw two tournaments a year instead of one!<–more–>
