The Site has been upgraded to WordPress 6.2.2. All plugins up to date.

The 2008 Indian Summer Disc Festival was a great success this year. Held on the
weekend of October 4th at Sonoma State University, the North Bay home of Disc Golf,
we had participants in all areas of disc sports.

The ‘Mock 1? tournament (non-sanctioned)held at beautiful Browns ‘N Bows over the weekend of October 4, 2008, was a resounding hit. The tournament was a benefit for Steve Werner, long time UFOS member who was recently stricken with Cancer. In spite of the ‘monsoon’ that moved in the night of October 3rd, the turnout was actually pretty good. I believe we had 43 players and we raised a total of $1663 for Steve. This couldn’t have come at a better time because he just moved into a new apartment and this was a great help with moving expenses.

So I keep hearing thing like “We are working on getting a course at Crane Creek” from players and Stafford Rangers alike, as well as in the FAQ on this site, but does anybody know any details? Where it stands now, what we can do to help, what the timetable (if any) looks like? I heard that the baskets that used to be up there are still sitting around somewhere. True?
