Crane Creek

The Steve Werner Memorial Course at Crane Creek just outside Rohnert Park was dedicated summer of 2009.

Mostly open shots on grassy hills. During summer, bring water and watch for ticks late Winter through mid Summer. Pay to Park: $6. Annual pass available from 2nd link. 18 holes.

From 101; take Rohnert Park Express East to a right on Petaluma Hill Rd. Left on Roberts Rd. (becomes Pressley Rd.) 2.5 miles to the park on left.

Luchessi Park

Nine hole course in Luchessi Park in Petaluma established in 2004.. Be aware of children and families. Tough to navigate (sidewalk tee markings). Map in Community Center. Dual tees make 18. Parking lots and most sidewalk areas are out OB. Dogleg around all light poles on #1. Two water shots. Course Length: 3100 ft.

US101; exit east on E. Washington St. to 1st left at N.McDowell Blvd.; Right at 2nd light into parking lot; Follow around to left past pond and building; 1st tee at corner of lawn, where parking lot turns to the right.

A Pro level course established in 1997. Eighteen holes in rugged wilderness, with extreme elevation, rolling hills and trees. Maps at #1. Fee; $8 weekends/$5 weekdays ($5/3 in fall & winter). Directions:

From Hwy 101, exit Atherton/San Marin Dr., go west 2 miles to a right on Novato Blvd., 2 miles to park entrance on left. 1st tee is left over bridge and uphill.

Skyline

Established in 1995, 18 holes in 900 acre park near trail heads (map at main gate). Lots of elevation. No dogs allowed. Fee; $6/day. To ensure the course is open after heavy rains call (707) 252-0481. Course length: 4791` feet. Site

Highland Springs

Twenty-two holes of excellent variety. Multiple tees and basket locations. Mostly heavy woods with lots of elevation. Established in 1980, the home of the “Steady Ed Memorial”. Course length: 5000ft. Details

Directions:

South of Lakeport off Hwy 29. At signal light go south on Highland Springs Rd. 4 miles. Past airport, road narrows, take left fork to the course on the right. Road dead ends into nice park with reservoir.
