The Mach I announces that there will be no late charges this year. Yes, that is right, If you fall asleep at the switch and forget to register, Mach I management will pay your late charges for you. And for those of you who will be arriving early Saturday morning, we will be sending out groups until 11am. See you there.
We would like to express our appreciaton to other webmasters and tournament directors for their support of this year’s KOA Pro Am Jam. Thanks to their willingness to announce the event on their sites and post a link to our flyers, we are receiving entries from all parts of California. We are more than willing to reciprocate in this matter. As soon as I receive announcements and/or flyers announcing other events I make an effort to get them on-line as quickly as possible. I do request that other tournament directors or sites please send me a digital copy because the quality of a scanned hard copy is not quite as sharp. We are more than happy to print out copies and hand them out at our venues to accommodate players who do not have online access.
The flyers are now available for the 7th annual “Steady Ed” Headrick Birthday Memorial to be held June 13th and 14th 2009. This tournament is a PDGA Sanctioned “B” tier event hosted by the Highland Springs Basket Cases. The flyers are available in both Word and PDF formats.
The fourteenth annual Pro~Am Jam, to be held on June 6th and 7th, is now officially full (link to current status)! We have reserved several spots to allow for those “mail-in” entries that are in transit, and those spots will be held until Monday, June 1st.
If you want to be put on the “waiting list”, please send your name, PDGA #, email address and division to either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. If there are spots open after June 1st, you will receive a Paypal invoice for your entry. Fees paid via Paypal invoice by June 4th will not incur the $10.00 late fee (the non-current surcharge still applies).
The 2008 Indian Summer Disc Festival was a great success this year. Held on the
weekend of October 4th at Sonoma State University, the North Bay home of Disc Golf,
we had participants in all areas of disc sports.
