Crane Creek Parking Lot and Tee Work Done

The overflow parking lot extension at Crane Creek was opened in time for the Steve Werner Memorial thanks to a great turnout for the work crew scheduled in late February. Thanks to a great effort by the UFOS crew, there were no parking concerns for the tournament. Many loads of gravel was spread and packed, totally by hand, during the afternoon because the ground was still too soft to support heavy equipment. Gravel was also carried to tees so they could be conditioned. A week later, more gravel was spread, this time using the equipment.

Thanks to the deluge during the second day of the tournament (March 11th) and the subsequent rain, the parking extension is again closed off waiting for dryer weather. Once we are through this wet spell, another work crew should be formed to do more work on both the parking lot and the tees.
