Stafford Lake Pro Am a hit!

The Stafford Lake Pro Am is in the record books. Literally! The results are posted. Congratulations to John Child in his first attempt at running a tournament! No only did he survive the experience, he ran a successful, well organized event and even managed to take second place in the Open division! Not bad at all!

101 players competed in the two day, three round event and enjoyed 72 rounds of challenging disc golf. Any of you that have played the Stafford Lake course, know that challenging is a most appropriate term.

Congratulations to Derek Billings who took first in the Pro Division, Patrick Brown who took first in the Open Masters Division and Jeff Fiedler who took first in Open GrandMasters. Congratulations also due to Rob Frias for his first place in Advanced, Matty Angell for his first in Advanced Masters and Dave Rawston for his first in Advanced GrandMasters. Lewis Bitney took first in the Intermediate with his grandparents watching. Play It Again Sports in Santa Rosa showed up to staff a booth with a good selection of discs and a good time was had by all. For a listing of all placements, check out the PDGA site.
